Heather LeBlanc has been practicing criminal law since 2008. She has dedicated her career to defending the rights of people who find themselves within the criminal justice system. Ms. Leblanc has litigated and tried all manner of criminal cases – from Domestic Violence and DUI to Robbery and Homicide – fighting for her clients inside and outside of the courtroom, including in a number of high-profile cases, including currently representing of Alec Baldwin in the Rust movie set case. Ms. LeBlanc’s experience and tenacity have earned her a reputation as one of the best trial attorneys in the State.

Ms. LeBlanc has served on the board of the New Mexico Criminal Defense Lawyers Association (NMCDLA) and is a recent co-chair of the Education and Professional Improvement Committee, which oversees the organization’s training curriculum for attorneys statewide. Ms. LeBlanc, herself, has trained attorneys throughout the state on a multitude of topics, including how to set trials up for success and how to gain the advantage at each stage of trial. She has also taught at the UNM School of Law as an adjunct professor in both the Criminal Law in Practice course and the Evidence and Trial Practice course.
